About the Class

Because we all keep busy schedules and in this economy we need to maximize our time in the office or selling we have structured a class for minimal interruption.  The first class is on a Wednesday from 4:00 PM in the afternoon until 7:00 PM.  With the second part of the class on Staurday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.  The student should register their domain if they do not already have one.  We will be glad to provide assistance.

Day 1 Wednesday -

Day one is an overview of the concepts behind CMS (Content Management Systems) and how they work.  Including basic operation of menu structures in Joomla and concepts for organizing information.  We will overview of the components that are included in the website.  We will give you a list of materials that you will need to have available for the class on Saturday.

Day 2 Saturday -

The student will bring that information to class and we will actually instruct and build your website with you.  The student will not have to install or setup and software.  We would do all that for you.

  13. RSS Feed - How to add and select
  14. News Feeds - How to add and select
  15. Setup blog - We will setup a simple blog
  16. Basic SEO - Powerful Search Engine capabilities that are built into the software (Meta Tags and how they work)
